Our Founder
Our Guru, Shri Kasiviswanathar (fondly revered as ‘Shri Guruji’), was a spiritual teacher who lived a life of deep meditation, devotion and discipline. He spent five years in ‘mouna vrata’ (vow of silence) as a child and dedicated his life to spreading Vedic knowledge, music and service.
He attained Mahasamadhi in November 2025, but his mission continues through his followers.

Shri Vedavyasar Tapovanam (SVVT) is a spiritual and cultural center started in 1994. It protects Vedic traditions, teaches good values, and works for peace and wellbeing in society. The Tapovanam has a rare Mandapam for Sage Vedavyasar, built in 2003 at Kamarajapuram (Sembakkam) Chennai 600073.
